The most informative book I have read. Anyone who thinks they have an illness related to Smart Meters ,Wifi, cell phone towers should read this book.
This book didn't really describe clear methods for healing electromagnetic hypersensitivity, but sounded more like random things the author was exploring that may or may not help.
I love the adventuresome curiosity with which he explores the topic -- but low on really helpful hints as to what to do to protect oneself.
Very useful information Electrical hypersensitivity is a serious problem for all of us, but for those who are really sensitive the problems are monumental!
Pretty average book. Mostly just rambling. Personal experiences and not based on facts. Hard to get any good info from it, but there were a couple of things.
For me, this book did not have a lot of science to it or much to back up the suggestions other than author's personal experiences. I appreciate his sharing but I am looking for a wider scope of information.
Excellent read for anyone who is electromagnetically hypersensitive, or just interested in maintaining good health consideering the high levels of radiation that surround us daily. This book is Magee's diary of what he did to cure his severe electromagnetic hypersensitivity. He includes the techniques and research he used, and more importantly what did and didn't work.
I'm a retired electrical engineer with EHS myself. This book was disappointing as I'd love to find a work I could recommend to others trying to cope with EHS. Magee self-claims to be a "leading world expert" yet is just repeating information promoted by others with no technical expertise or better explaination of theory or practical practice applied. His "research" on treatment as described very briefly in this rambling book about his personal tribulations is based only his personal experience taking minerals and electrolytes, allegedly to raise your body's DC voltage. This theory is based only on his houseplants, for which he offers no data, controls, etc.
His knowledge of the electrical engineering field of EMC seems to be sorely lacking for a "leading world expert", and his understanding of ground currents and stray voltage is very limited. He recommends using 3/4" copper pipe for grounding the power panel, even though he admits this made him worse. (Adding earth connections to a Wye powered home is guaranteed to elevate magnetic fields.) He does not seem to be aware of the inherent problems of the Wye system multipoint grounding, nor of the 100 fold reductions in magnetic fields found in Delta served areas. Many of the mysteries in his own home would be explained by purchasing or building an magnetic field meter with sensitivity down to 0.002 milligaus, such as the Alphalabs Trifield meter with 100x external probe (available by special order) .
According to his book he is still living withing 1/4 mile of a cell tower, yet he still does not recommend shielding of the home (until he does more "research") nor provide measurements of before and after magnetic fields or radio waves. He makes many highly questionable claims such as cutting down a tree next to the home to reduce EMFs, again, no before or after measurements.
He claims to have corrected some wiring errors in his home (see "Tracing EMFs..." by Karl Riley) and it is far, far more likely that reducing the extremely high magnetic field levels that these can cause was over time beneficial to his health.
The point of this booklet seems to be self aggrandizement and promotion of his consulting service. It certainly isn't going to help non-technical people understand EMFs, treatment of EHS, etc. The amount of misinformation and pseudoscience is alarming.
